Award
ATLANTA,GA. (April 6th, 2020) ? After receiving the
2019 Good Design Award, Kumho Tire announced on March 30th
that the
Solus 4S HA32 has also been rewarded the 2020 Red Dot Design Award in
the
transportation category.
Organized by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen of Germany
since 1955, the Red Dot Design Award honors winners in the three
categories of
product, communication, and concept. It is recognized as one of the
world’s top
three design awards, along with the International Forum Design (iF) of
Germany
and the International Design Excellence Award (IDEA) of the United
States.
Designed for all-weather performance, the Solus 4S HA32 features a
specially formulated winter compound to provide excellent traction on
ice and
snow. The HA32 offers outstanding grip and braking on wet or dry
pavement stemming
from a stronger interlocking structure and the directional tread design.
In addition, the tire looks
more sophisticated
by featuring a sidewall decorated with holograms that change depending
on the
angle of light. The product will be displayed at the Red Dot Design
Museum in
Germany and Singapore for the rest of the year.
